Listening to music while doing yoga is an amazing way to enhance your experience. You can use it to support your flow or to deepen your meditation. Or for some people, it can just help them push through some physically straining exercises.
To help you get started with using music in your yoga practice, I found you a few amazing playlists that you can use for different occasions.
Let’s get started!
Yoga music on Youtube
First, I want to share a few nice videos of yoga music on YouTube because YouTube is accessible to everyone.
I selected a few videos that are not interrupted by ads. At least they aren’t while I’m writing this. Better check before you get started. Nothing’s worse than being in the middle of your meditation and an ad starting to blare.
Yoga music for meditation
The first video I want to share is some meditation music. It’s really awesome. If you’re already done with the yoga practice and you sit in some deep meditation this music is really relaxing and helps you release any left over tension.
Yoga music for relaxation
This next Yoga music video is also perfect for relaxing.
I use music like this when I do Yin yoga, restorative Yoga, or other really relaxing yoga practices. It’s also perfect for the relaxation after a strong yoga flow.

Yoga music chanting
If you’re into chanting, then this next video is going to be perfect for you.
Here you’ll find Indian chants and mantras to listen to while you practice.
Yoga music with drums
Do you love drums? This yoga music video on YouTube utilizes the Hang Drum and the water drum and we’ll put you in a positive, relaxed state.
Yoga music for kids
Last but not least, there is this cute video with Yoga music for kids.
I think that’s a cool idea. Kids enjoy some yoga music, too!
But let me tell you this instrumental mix is so relaxing even
Yoga music on Spotify
Spotify is another great source of Yoga music. I mean, they have everything!
So I want to share with you some really nice playlists I found on there and use regularly.
Upbeat Yoga music
The first Spotify playlist is perfect for flowing yoga. It’s upbeat, but also quiet. This is a perfect mix to put you in a positive state without getting too excited.

It’s also a perfect antidote to the common belief that yoga music has to be kind of sad. Nothing wrong with some upbeat yoga music at all!
Instrumental Yoga music
This yoga instrumental playlist is perfectly chilled and relaxing. It’s also a nice mix of songs. There’s really something for everyone in here.
Yoga music with a beat
Do you prefer your yoga music with a beat? I do, too, sometimes!
Electronic music just does something to stimulate you in a positive way.
My favorite playlist on Spotify is this one: “Yoga Electronica”. I actually even use it outside of Yoga. It’s perfect for when I really just want to focus but I need something to drive me forward a little bit.
