About me

Hi, I’m Leo, the Yogi behind Yogabullet.

My goal with this blog is to show people how Yoga can help anyone, no matter how fit they are, to love their body and their life more.

Yep, I said it. Anyone. Take me as an example.

I used to be the most inflexible, un-sporty person, and I was convinced that Yoga was only for naturally bendy, fit girls whose hair is always perfectly styled. (Clearly, I only knew about Yoga from social media…)

But then I hit a phase of personal challenges in several areas of my life at once, both health- and mindset related. And Yoga and meditation kept coming up as a solution to so many things I was googling. It really made me reconsider my view on it.

But how to get started with Yoga, as an absolute beginner and horribly unflexible person?

Being super honest with you, there was no way I would join a public Yoga class. Making a fool of myself? Next to all these beautiful, flexible people? No thanks!

Luckily for me and all the other shy beginners out there, it’s getting easier and easier to find Yoga classes online. So I started practicing Yoga in my living room, in front of some Youtube videos.

And, what can I say? The physical and mental changes that started happening to me as a result of my Yoga practice simply got me hooked.

That was over 10 years ago.

Now I know that Yoga isn’t a “chic” thing to help you get prettier Instagram photos. And it’s not for fit people, it is a way to get people fit!

In my opinion, Yoga is a silver bullet for both physical and mental health and can really, seriously improve your life!

So I made it my mission with this blog to share what I’ve learned and show as many people as I can the wonder of Yoga.

And don’t worry, it’s not only opinions and thoughts, I am trained for this! I am a certified Yoga teacher with additional certifications in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga and Ayurveda.

I even was a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Quality control, you know.

However, I chose to not renew my membership for now, as I’m not teaching in the US.
