EkhartYoga
Back in 2008, I was a university student. Going to regular Yoga classes was way out of my budget. But I really wanted to try Yoga, and see for myself if it did all these amazing things people talked about.
Cue EkhartYoga, back then still called “Yogatic”. Esther Ekhart, the founder, was a Yoga teacher in Ireland whose classes were simply getting too full.
So she decided to make short little Yoga videos on Youtube. That’s when I found her, and how I learned the basics of Yoga.
She explains very well and has an amazingly calm presence. If you’re looking for beginner-friendly Yoga videos, you’ll definitely find them here!
(I know I am biased, but to me, this is still the best yoga channel on youtube!)
Yoga with Adriene
Yoga with Adriene is another channel where you’ll find quite a lot of Yoga videos dedicated to beginners. I’ve heard lots of people say that they consider hers to be the best youtube yoga videos for beginners!
She explains very well and really takes her time to guide you through the poses. Seeing as with a Youtube teacher you cannot get in-person adjustments, those detailed explanations are super important!
She even has a free 30 day Yoga challenge on her Youtube channel. Go check it out!
BrettLarkinYoga
Brett Larkin is another instructor who really understands what beginners need to see in a Yoga video on Youtube. She answers common questions, explains the sun salutation sequence for beginners and much, much more.
Have a look at her beginner Yoga videos here!
Yoga with Kassandra
Last but not least there is Yoga with Kassandra. This Yoga teacher has almost 100 beginner videos up on her channel, so you won’t get bored getting to know the ins and outs of the beginner poses.
Find all of Kassandra’s beginner Yoga videos here!
